The little shop is situated in beautiful natural surroundings at the side of the old school’s left wing bounded by a stoney bank planted with different herbs. From spring to autumn you can sit on the benches in a relaxing atmosphere among fragrant herbs such as lavender, peppermint and oregano, these attract a wide variety of insects.
You are welcome to try the herbs which you can also buy, as well as a wide range of other plants in the shop. We also offer seasonally-available herb-salts and herbal teas.
Here, you can take a break from your hectic day and enjoy delicious cakes which you can buy in the shop from Spring to Autumn, while your children are welcome to play in the sandpit.
You might even get a visit from our hens, Anita, Rosi, Erika, Frieda and Else who roam free all year round. As they are always looking for food, they are very curious and will happily clear up any cake crumbs you might drop. They are tame and like to be petted. In return, the hens lay high quality eggs which you can also find in the shop.
In addition we have a large selection of jams (see list below) and we offer a selection of honey and seasonal fruit and vegetables in the shop.
All of our products are carefully selected, environmentally friendly and sustainably produced.
Should you find anything wrong with a product, we ask that you contact us and we will either refund your money or exchange the product.
